TV Show Creator Just Blamed Trump For The Annapolis Newsroom Shooting

Hollywood has been anti-Trump from the get-go, but it seems like over the past few months, the level of blind hate has skyrocketed to the point where it’s becoming dangerous.

The following is another example of ignorant, blind, unwarranted hatred of President Trump that only further divides America at a time when we division is the last thing we all need on our plates.

DailyWire reports:

After wishing death on a Trump supporter earlier this month, “The Wire” creator David Simon has returned from his rather brief suspension on Twitter to blame Trump for the Capital Gazette shooting, in which a gunman who had a grudge against the newspaper opened fire and killed five people.

Even though the suspected shooter has expressed no political motivations for his murderous spree, leftists like David Simon say President Trump’s intense rhetoric toward the media is to blame.

“Blood today in an American newsroom. Aren’t you proud, you vile, fascist son of a bitch,” Simon tweeted.

“Whatever was in the shooter’s head, the US President stood ready to bolster and validate it,” he wrote. “We know this. It is on the record. The US President chose to declare to citizens of the republic that journalists of a free press were ‘enemies of the people.'”

Simon went on to blast Florida Senator Marco Rubio for criticizing the mainstream media for creating a “lack of trust in reporting.”

“From the vantage of someone who is waiting for the death count of journalists shot in their newsroom in my home state, can I simple say that @marcorubio is unfit to be a citizen of a republic, much less a legislator. You should crawl through broken glass to hell, Senator,” Simon wrote.

To be clear, Trump did not say journalists were the “enemy of the American people,” he said, “the fake news media is the enemy of the American people.”

It is important to note here that Deadline, which also reported on Simon’s tweets, did not specify that he previously issued a vile and vicious death wish against a Trump supporter, simply stating he had been banned “for attacking another Trump follower.”

“You should die of a slow-moving venereal rash that settles in your lying throat,” wrote Simon.
