President Donald Trump spent time with the kids of the White House staff and press corps on Thursday as part of national “Take Your Child to Work Day.”
The president and the children first spent time in the Rose Garden where he signed “Make America Great Again” hats for kids and autographed their White House press cards, before inviting them to check out the Oval Office.
“Honestly, the children ask me better questions, if you want to know the truth,” Trump joked, according to a WH pool report. “Your parents are being very nice right now, I can’t believe it! Because they don’t want to embarrass themselves in front of you. You understand that? They’re being so nice I can’t believe it.”
