Trump Just Dropped The Final Hammer On Crybaby Professional Sports Teams

The Philadelphia Eagles, a usually sec0nd-rate team who were exceptionally lucky last season, decided to pull a sad political stunt regarding their invitation to the White House for a personal handshake with President Donald Trump.

It’s sad, because when you think of “eagles,” you think of patriotism and what this country stands for. But instead, their version of “eagles” are crybaby millionaire liberal athletes who get paid far too much money to toss a ball up and down a field.

They got the attention they apparently wanted, but Trump easily just had the final say regarding the stunt they pulled…

DailyWire reports:

On Friday, President Trump minced no words about professional sports championship teams that decline to visit the White House, asserting, “If they don’t want to be here, I don’t want them.”

Aware that NBA star LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers, echoed by Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant, had said neither NBA Finals team would accept a trip to the White House, and that Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry had declined the trip last year when the Warriors won the title, Trump said, “I didn’t invite LeBron James and I didn’t invite Steph Curry. We’re not going to invite either team.”

Trump expressed his hope that the NHL champion Washington Capitals would visit. He said, “I think we’ll have the Caps. I mean we’ll see.”

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr has slammed Trump, saying, “I think the President has made it pretty clear he’s going to try to divide us, all of us in this country, for political gain. So it’s just the way it is. I think we all look forward to the day when we can go back to just having a celebration of athletic achievement and celebrate Americans for their achievement, their good deeds.”

Trump pointed out that Alabama’s college football team, the New England Patriots, the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Clemson University Tigers football team all visited the White House after they won their titles. The Houston Astros also visited the White House after they won the World Series last year.
