Something Scary Was Discovered Under The Border That Proves Trump Is Right

Mexico has just discovered two massive and elaborate tunnels leading from Otay Mesa, Tijuana, to San Diego, California. The tunnel system is used by the Sinaloa cartel, according to the office of the U.S. Attorney General.

The sophisticated human pipelines, which were once abandoned, are being used again for smuggling drugs and illegal aliens into the United States. They are reviving underground activity in the advent of President-elect Donald Trump’s wall.

Tunnels to gain illegal access are not new.

Israel has faced serious border breeches from “terror tunnels” under the Gaza strip. In response, they have dug in to address the problem. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “The State of Israel has achieved a world breakthrough in its efforts to locate tunnels. That doesn’t exist anywhere else. We checked the entire world.” Israeli computers now detect the use of underground construction equipment.

It’s a good thing the United States has already invested $120 million in the tunnel detection project with Israel. We are going to need some expert help in finding the ones here.

Even though more than a dozen smuggling tunnels have already been discovered in California, that doesn’t include Arizona, New Mexico or Texas, which has the longest shared border with Mexico.

President Trump is right. We have to stop illegal immigrants from entering our country.

From the LA Times:

Border Patrol agents found a cross-border tunnel in Otay Mesa early Saturday after dozens of people emerged from it, federal authorities said.

Agents caught four Mexican men and three women, and 23 Chinese nationals, including two women. They apparently had just been smuggled into the United States through the tunnel, Customs and Border Protection spokesman Ralph DeSio said.

The agents were in the area of the border and Drucker Lane about 1:15 a.m. when they saw a large number of men and women on the street. They started running when agents approached them, Border Patrol Agent Eduardo Olmos said.

Those who were detained were taken to the Border Patrol station in Chula Vista to be questioned. The San Diego Tunnel Task Force, led by U.S Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations, is handling the investigation and working with Mexican authorities.
