Rand Paul Reminds Media What “Racist” Trump Did To Help Haiti (With His Own Money)

Isn’t it unbelievably hilarious how the liberal politicians and liberal mainstream media literally lost their minds over a word that President Trump allegedly said during a private meeting? It’s hard to believe THAT is where they’re making their stand, but they did. And we can sit back, relax and enjoy the show while they completely melt down.

But what that same group won’t tell you is what Trump did with his own money for the folks in Haiti — no, because that would completely wreck their “racist Trump” narrative in about 3 seconds flat.

Conservative Tribune reports:

During an appearance over the weekend on NBC’s “Meet The Press,” Sen. Rand Paul dismissed the suggestion by identity politics-obsessed liberals that President Donald Trump harbors racist feelings toward the Haitians.

“I think it is unfair to all of a sudden, paint him, ‘well, he’s a racist,’ when I know for a fact he cares very deeply about the people in Haiti because he helped to finance a trip, we were able to give vision back for 200 people in Haiti,” he said, according to the Washington Examiner.

Paul, an opthalmologist, made the statement days after a fuss erupted over remarks the president had allegedly made during a private discussion on immigration policy with congressional Democrats and Republicans.

Following the closed-door meeting Thursday, Sen. Dick Durbin told the media that he had heard the president refer to Haiti, El Salvador and African countries as “s**thole” nations. Though some evidence now suggests Trump never even said this, the media have been insistent that this alleged remark makes the president a racist.

Paul disagrees on the basis that someone with racist feelings about the Haitians would not fund a trip to provide them with health care.

Speaking again about this during an appearance Tuesday on Fox News, Paul further expounded on what exactly happened.

“When I went to Haiti a few years ago, I went on a medical mission trip and we did cataract surgery for about 200 people who were largely blind before their surgery,” he said.

“I asked for donations before I went on the trip and one of them was (from) a businessman Donald J. Trump, who not only helped with the trip to Haiti but helped with a previous trip we took to Central America.”

Now, contrast Trump’s generosity with the lack thereof of failed Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, a woman whom the media worked awfully hard (and unethically) two years ago to try and install as America’s next president.

Though she and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, raised money through the now-discredited Clinton Foundation to help Haiti recover from its 2010 earthquake, they allegedly wasted some of that money on their daughter’s wedding.

And of the money that actually made it to Haiti, much of it wound up being used to fund garbage recovery solutions, including shelters described by The Nation as “structurally unsafe and laced with formaldehyde.”

“(W)hen Nation reporters visited the (Clintons’) ‘hurricane-proof’ shelters in June, six to eight months after they’d been installed, we found them to consist of twenty imported prefab trailers beset by a host of problems, from mold to sweltering heat to shoddy construction,” the leftist outlet reported back in 2011.

o, the Clintons allegedly took money meant for the Haitians and used it to both fund their own lifestyles and then later to install some cheap, barely functional recovery shelters.

In other words, whereas Trump paid for some of the Haitians’ health care, the Clintons may have exploited their suffering and offered “assistance” that might have been worse than the crisis.

With that said, who do you think is the REAL racist?

SHARE this all over Facebook and social media to remind the world that Donald Trump is a caring, generous leader who doesn’t hesitate to reach into his own pocket to help those in need, unlike the racist liberals.
