President Donald Trump has remained mostly silent on the issue of Stormy Daniels, but today that changed when he hit the press with a bombshell statement that had the liberal media scrambling to adjust their narrative.
Just when the Russia narrative started to fade, they thought they had something with Stormy. But maybe not…
On Thursday, President Donald Trump broke his silence on Stormy Daniels, denying that he knew about his lawyer’s alleged $130,000 payment to the porn star.
Trump’s comments were made on Air Force One when a reporter asked him: “Did you know about the $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels?”
Trump replied, “No.”
“Why did Michael Cohen make it?” Trump was asked.
“You have to ask Michael Cohen,” Trump responded. “Michael Cohen is my attorney you’ll have to ask him.”
“Do you know where he got the money to make that payment?” Trump was asked.
Trump replied, “No I don’t know.”

The alleged payment made by Trump’s lawyer to Daniels supposedly happened one month before the 2016 presidential election. Daniels has maintained that the payment was intended to keep her from telling her story before the election, The Wall Street Journal reported.
“We very much look forward to testing the truthfulness of Mr. Trump’s feigned lack of knowledge concerning the $130k payment as stated on Air Force One,” Michael Avenatti, Daniels’ lawyer, said in a tweet. “As history teaches us, it is one thing to deceive the press and quite another to do so under oath.”
