CHUMP: The Steelers Player Who Stood Alone For Anthem Just APOLOGIZED

Patriotic Americans were so incredibly proud of this guy when he defied his crybaby, anti-American teammates and stood for the flag and our country all by his self. We were even considering buying jerseys based on that decision alone, because of how awesome we thought it was.

But he let us down worse than the guys who stayed in the locker room when he came out for an apology tour today. What a CHUMP.

On Monday, after he had been celebrated by football fans and non-football fans alike for standing for the national anthem on Sunday, apart from his teammates who remained in the locker room during the playing of the national anthem to protest remarks of President Trump, Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Alejandro Villanueva, who served three tours in Afghanistan, apologized for his actions, blaming himself for standing apart from his team.

Villanueva apparently felt guilty that his teammates underwent criticism for not standing for the anthem, adding that he was okay with whatever actions they took:
