JUST IN: Denver Broncos STUN Fans With National Anthem Update…

Our efforts to remind the NFL that most Americans aren’t going to accept watching millionaire athletes disrespect our flag are apparently working!

The Denver Broncos just made a stunning announcement that you’ll want to share everywhere. Check it out below.

Daily Wire reports:

On Thursday, the Denver Broncos issued a statement saying that their players would no longer be kneeling for the national anthem.

According to the Broncos, their protest on Sunday, in which stars like Von Miller and Demaryius Thomas knelt for the national anthem a la Colin Kaepernick, will not continue this Sunday. They stated that their actions “were in no way a protest of the military, the flag, or those who keep us safe,” and pledged “nothing but the deepest love and respect for those who protect our way of life and the freedoms we enjoy as Americans.”

The Broncos also noted that “Inequalities still exist, and we have work to do in ALL forms of social justice.”

This line is the Broncos’ sop to the Left, and it is difficult to square supposed respect for law enforcement with the Kaepernick case that law enforcement is systemically racist, as is the country – the reason that Kaepernick knelt in the first place.

In any case, it’s likely that the blowback to the NFL – and to the Broncos specifically – had some impact on the decision by the players to stop kneeling. That’s perfectly fine, and has nothing to do with President Trump. Kneeling for the anthem is a slap in the face to Americans who have fought to protect the nation for which the anthem stands, and it’s a positive sign that the players now realize that and will instead stand together rather than engaging in the counterproductive and nasty spectacle of disrespecting symbols of American unity.

Also, here’s the official “I Proudly Stand For The Anthem” t-shirt (we have hoodie and v-neck options, too!) that has part of the proceeds going to the National Coalition of Homeless Veterans!

I agree. Fire all the traitors. If they hate our country, then they can leave with our blessing. We don’t want them here in America. What if they had done this a couple of
weeks after the morning of 9/11? They’d would have lost more than a couple of fans: perhaps would have been sent to Guantanamo Bay, where they belong.

#BoycottNFL It was a place where people of different beliefs came together and enjoyed their teams. Now, it’s a left wing hate speech.

Too late for me. They have burned the bridge. I am a former New Orleans Saints fan. I don’t give a flying fork what they say or do. My boycott will continue as long as the 10 racists Saints players who sat, the 4 who stood next to them with their hands on the sitters shoulders, Drew Brees and Sean Payton who both spoke against the President and in support of the racists are still on this team.

Only because the owners are losing money and if they lose money so well the player as well but standing now won’t work a little to late still going to BOYCOTT

You all have done it for me. I will not watch another bronco game until I see that you honor the flag and the anthem according to your own nfl rule book !!!

First, FIRE those that refused to stand. Second police aren’t picking on the blacks. It’s just that too many blacks (NOT ALL)are involved in rioting and criminal actions just like too many whites, Hispanics and other races. Police arrest those who are involved in these unlawful activities. Third, how much of the proceeds from the sale of your shirts actually get to the homeless veterans? Less than 10%? That’s why I don’t donate.

Solution to National Anthem disrespect. 1. Every one stand and respect the National Anthem. 2. The NFL provide one minute or more of advertisement time during all televised games, for respectful dialogue from players that states their concerns for racial inequalities.

These bozos should be taking a knee for the 500 people in Chicago who have been killed by people of their own color since January.
